As most of you know I recently retired from full time ministry and, I must say, the end came as a great relief.

Which brings me to where I am now. 

Outrageously and excited beyond measure every time a William Randolph Hearse goes out on a funeral.

What I miss though is the writing of sermons and especially my monthly newsletter article called “Dave’s World.”  In sermons I could tell people what theological musings I had during the course of the week.  In the newsletter column I wrote about everything.

Thus the blog.  There are something things  that I just need to get off my chest.  So here we go with you, dear reader, bearing the brunt of my observations about church, politics, life, and other matters.

Feedback is encouraged.  Negative feedback, however, will be verbally eviscerated.
